Every mum needs support. Whether you are doing this all on your own or whether you have a large support network already in place. It is an exciting journey & navigating your way around the changes, information & knowledge can be overwhelming some days.

And that’s where I come in - As your Pre Natal Support Doula, I am here help you feel supported about your choices, connected to your baby and your body & empowered with new knowledge and resources to help you to make informed and evidence based decisions around your pregnancy, labour & birth. 

I want to empower women enough during pregnancy, so they can empower themselves during birth. I would like to help & guide you, determine your birthing ideas, and help you get there.

A full recommended package period is within anytime during your pregnancy, whenever you feel you need to start. Keeping in mind I am also a trained Massage Therapist specialising in Pregnancy Massage, so you can receive safe and relaxing massage during your pregnancy as well ! How amazing would that be :)

Some options where I can provide support & included in your Pregnancy Support Packages could be:

• Initial consultation - we can get to know each other, discuss your birth preferences, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

• Support for any questions, concerns, fears … or just to chat & ease some tears. Pregnancy can be unpredictable, so I'm here for you whenever you need me. Just send me a text or email, & I'll get back to you with answers, reassurance, or a listening ear!

• A number of Prenatal Visits

• ‘Be the best support person’ one on one workshop in your home with your partner &/or your support crew (Normally $250.00) - Partners are important to !

• 60-90 minute Coffee/Tea catch up in person/phone call every month

• Supported Resources and Evidence Based informatio

• Be with you during some pre natal appointments if required

• Pregnancy & Post-Partum Massage - You deserve some help easing any body discomforts you may be having as well as relaxation. Firstly - Congratulations! You are about to embark on a life changing and amazing journey & we would love to be on it with you … A Labour & birth package that provides not only support during your labour and birth, but comprehensive support, relaxing/theraputic massages, TENS hire and additional goodies to make this time even more special for you and your crew.

A birth doula is there to provide you & your birthing partner with support you need, so you can have a positive birth experience (whatever that means for you). We will provide you with relevant, unbiased and up-to-date information so you can make informed decisions for your labour & birth.

Whether you are on this journey with a partner/friend or on your own, our first goal as your Doula is getting to know the mother and her birthing partner/family and building a trusting and reassuring relationship, so by the time your baby is ready to be born you know & trust your support team. Your doula can help you determine your birthing goals, and help you meet those goals. They can have as much or as little input as you need or want.

Once your labour begins, your Doula will stay with you during your labour and delivery, using non-medical pain relief comfort emotional support. They also ensure your partner is involved in the birth at all times at a level they are most comfortable with & keeping everyone calm. As a Doula I can help set the scene of the room so you can labour in a peaceful/familiar environment - Keep in mind I am also a trained Massage Therapist so you can receive safe and relaxing massage during your Pregnancy as well ! How amazing would that be :)

Whether you are planning a hospital birth, birthing unit birth or a home birth. 
Whether you have a Midwife, LMC or Obstetrician.
Whether you want a un-medicated birth or want an epidural right away
We’re here to make sure you have the support and information you need.
Then the choice is entirely up to you, and we will support you 100%.

One more thing - what if you are due any day! You meant to get around to arranging a Doula but life happened & think you need us NOW! Relax, don’t stress, its all OK & definitely not too late. Sometimes you just need or want another experienced person with you to make you feel more comfortable & ease anxieties or worries. Maybe you are birthing alone, your birth partner can no longer make it. Possibly the person you thought was going to be your birth partner is unwell or just not the right person after all. We can try and meet you once before the birth if we have time, or chat over the phone. However, if not, we can still meet you at your birthing unit, hospital or home once you are in established labour. We can provide as much support in ways that are best to assist your individual needs & stay with you for at least an hour or two after your birth to help you settle in before heading off if required.

Included in your Labour & Birth Support Package are :

• Two Prenatal Visits in your home or venue of your choice where we can dive deep into your birth plan, explore different comfort measures, practice relaxation techniques, and tackle any worries that might be on your mind.

• On call 24/7 from 38-42 weeks

• In person support when the time comes during your labour & birth - I am there for you and your birthing partner, providing emotional support, assisting with comfort measures, suggesting position changes, and yes, offering heavenly massages to soothe your aches and pains

• Supported Resources and Evidence Based information

• Support Session going over your Labour and Birth Preparation & Preferences/Birth Plan (& setting up your nest)

• Baby’s nursery set up & suggested items

• Packing your bags for hospital

• Your 4th Trimester and how this may look for you

• One Post-partum Visit - Around one week after your little bundle arrives, we'll catch up to chat about your birth experience & cover any questions you might have,
