Elle TENS 2

Elle Tens Warranty - The Elle Tens 2 comes with a 2 year warranty. 

Elle Tens Returns process - If there is a fault with your Elle Tens 2 and it is under warranty please contact us here. We will complete some troubleshooting with you to determine the next steps. You may need to pay for postage of the Elle Tens 2 back to Australia for inspection.

  • Drift Away Massage Therapy cannot accept returns where the damage or fault is the result of something you did. If your Elle TENS hire is returned to us damaged by accident, misuse, or is lost or stolen, your deposit of $100 plus hire fee of $59.99 will not be refunded.

  • Drift Away Massage Therapy are unable to accept responsibility for returns that are sent by non-traceable postage methods and are not received by them. Without the items they cannot inspect/issue a refund.

  • If an item is returned for a replacement but does not meet the returns criteria, a replacement cannot be processed and the item will be returned to you. Shipping charges apply.

  • Refunds will not be given due to a change of mind. $59.99 is NON-REFUNDABLE. Your bond of $100.00 will be refunded.

  • TENS units should only be used in accordance with the instructions provided.

  • The success of using a TENS unit in labour is neither guaranteed nor warranted by Elle Tens Australia & Drift Away Massage.

  • Elle TENS 2 must not be used by anyone fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, who has a heart disease or suffers from epilepsy. If you have any concerns whatsoever consult your medical advisor prior to use.

  • The TENS machine cannot be used in water. If the customer wishes to enter a bath, birthing pool or shower, the TENS unit should be removed.

  • Elle TENS must not be used until the pregnancy has reached full term (37 weeks onwards).

  • A fully refundable bond of $100 is payable to secure the booking. The bond is returned to the customer once the TENS machine is returned in good working order.

  • Failure to return the TENS machine by the due date will result in the Customer being charged $10 for each and every week or any part of a week over and above the hire period until the Elle TENS is returned. If the unit is not returned for any reason the Customer will be charged for that unit ($210.00). If the unit is returned incomplete, the customer will be charged accordingly for the missing item/s. $10 is charged for a missing Instruction Booklet/Quick Guide or cardboard box casing, $25 for a missing rechargeable battery and $20 for a missing cable.

  • In the event of damage to, or loss of the TENS by the Customer, the full retail value ($210.00) is payable to Drift Away Massage Therapy by the Customer.

  • Non-use of the hired Elle TENS is entirely at the discretion of the customer and no refund will apply.

  • Once the TENS unit is dispatched or collected by the Customer, the booking cannot be cancelled and a refund is not available. If the Customer contacts Drift Away Massage Therapy by phone or email prior to the unit being dispatched or collected, a refund of the price paid less $10.00 applies (plus the $100 bond).

  • Elle TENS are fully tested immediately prior to dispatch. However, the liability TENS shall not exceed the rental charge.

  • The Customer should check the contents of the hire pack upon receipt and familiarise themselves with the Elle TENS 2 and the instructions. The Customer must advise Drift Away Massage of any problems whatsoever immediately. Drift Away Massage accepts no responsibility where the Customer fails to do so and renders it impossible for Drift Away Massage to take any corrective action.

  • If the unit is dispatched via courier, the approximate time a unit takes for delivery is overnight to main centres (plus an extra 3 days for rural addresses). A third party is used for courier deliveries and therefore Drift Away Massage cannot guarantee a delivery date or timeframe. If a Customer hires a unit less than 21 days in advance of their due date, then the Customer takes the risk that their baby may arrive early (before the TENS arrives). Once the unit has been dispatched no refund is available if the unit does not arrive in time for the delivery. 

  • If the unit has not arrived 21 days prior to the Customer's due date (or if the customer is due earlier, then within 1-2 working days of booking), it is the Customer's responsibility to contact Drift Away Massage to assist with tracking the item. Drift Away Massage cannot be held responsible if they are unaware that a unit has not arrived by the expected date.

  • In providing Drift Away Massage with personal contact details and payment, the Customer agrees to the above terms and conditions.

Gift Vouchers of Monetary Value or Massages & Spa Treatments

  • Gift vouchers will either be mailed out to you, or manually emailed to your email address soon after purchase.  Please check if the email address is correct. If you have not received your voucher, you can contact us at hello@driftaway.nz. Please also check junk mail folders. 

  • At time of purchase please ensure you email us all information required for your voucher

    • Name of recipient

    • From who

    • Type of Treatment or service purchased

    • Any special message you may like added.

    • Please note … if these are used for a Gift (and not yourself) don’t worry, we won’t include the $value on the voucher. Just the Treatment & time allocation so your recipient knows what they are coming for :)

  • Gift vouchers can also be purchased in studio.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

  • Gift vouchers are valid for up to 6 months, unless otherwise specified. 

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

  • Gift vouchers are fully transferable but not redeemable for cash.

  • Gift vouchers of monetary value can be redeemed towards services or products, unless otherwise specified.

  • Gift vouchers must be cancelled or changed within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time or we will deduct 50% of the value.

  • Gift voucher appointments which have been booked and clients fail to show will be considered redeemed in full.

  • Please let us know your voucher number at time of booking.

  • Gift vouchers must be presented at time of appointment.

  • We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen vouchers. If a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen or destroyed or used without permission, a replacement will not be provided.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase additional gift vouchers.

  • Gift vouchers can be combined with multiple vouchers if required. Please discuss at time of your booking.

  • Gift vouchers are not valid with any other promotions or offers.
